Supervision is an essential space for practitioners to reflect on their work, their own needs as helping professionals, and a place to learn and develop. But Supervision isn’t just about ticking boxes, it’s about creating a space where you can bring your whole, authentic self. Yes, we’ll talk about your clients, keep ethics front and centre, and think carefully about your practice, but we’ll also make room for the real, human side of the work; the emotions, the frustrations, the moments of doubt, and the laughter too.
I see supervision as a collaborative space: a place to reflect, learn, and grow, but also a place where you don’t have to squeeze yourself into a mould. I value difference and individuality, and I want you to feel free to show up as you are - not as who you think you should be.
I work with counsellors and practitioners at all stages of their career. Some are just starting out, others are highly experienced, and many are somewhere in between. I offer both individual and group supervision, in person and online, so we can find a format that suits your needs.
My supervision approach
I hold a Diploma in Supervision and offer a flexible, supportive space for reflection, growth, and ethical exploration. I have experience supporting a broad range of practitioners, including qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists, mental health professionals, caseworkers, and non-clinical wellbeing advisors. My supervision practice has encompassed work with adults, children, and young people, as well as those in specialist roles — such as supporting survivors of sexual violence and domestic abuse, victims of crime, and students within university wellbeing services.
I offer relational, supportive supervision that provides a dedicated space for you to reflect on your practice, explore clinical challenges, and consider your own needs as a therapist or helping professional. My approach is collaborative and grounded, with room for both professional development and emotional support.
Alongside my private practice, I’m the Clinical Lead of a counselling service in Winchester. I bring over 15 years of experience across mental health and wellbeing roles, including as a counsellor, clinical supervisor, crisis practitioner, and wellbeing service manager. I’ve worked in young people’s services, Higher Education wellbeing, rape crisis settings, and provided brief therapy for clients in the film and TV industry.
